Staying lean right through winter is a challenge. Comfort foods and the couch are way too enticing. To keep things in check, remaining firm on the grocery shopping choices is the first priority. When you hit the grocery isles go with the following.

Fish

When seasoned bodybuilders and fitness competitors are preparing for a comp, for the last few weeks they'll switch their meat sources from lean beef and chicken, over to fish. Green leafy Vegetables, Broccoli, Bok Choy, Spinach, Lettuce, Beans, Cucumber, Celery, Courgette. The list goes on. You've heard it often enough, but never skimp on the greens. Load up and reap the rewards the way nature planned. 

Whole Eggs

I think we all know now, Eggs are no longer the villain we were told they were. Forget separate Egg whites, eat whole Eggs. Whole Eggs contain high levels of vitamins, protein, and have valuable fat content to help support healthiest hormone levels, as well as your recovery and lean gains. Cook them the healthy way – unless you are on a Ketogenic diet, then it doesn't matter so much. Gee those Keto guys get away with a lot haha.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Ok it's not exactly food, but it is made from Apples. It's one thing I drink on the daily without fail. Make sure to dilute it well in water though or your tooth enamel will suffer.
